Pandemic Influenza A/H1N1 Vaccine
As of 30 September 2009, a vaccine that induces protective immunity against the pandemic Influenza A/H1N1 vaccine became available and is free. Australian health authorities advise that all travellers should be vaccinated with this new influenza vaccine prior to travelling overseas, provided there are no contraindications.
